Giving Back

With the loss of my son, Clay Dalton Cagle in June 2017, I have reaffirmed Honey Lake Firearms & Guide Services dedication to organizations that support conservation so that our youth may enjoy what we have experienced in the outdoors in our life time.

Owner/Guide
Honey Lake Firearms & Guide Service proudly supports many great causes that further the preservation of wildlife habitat, firearms rights, and hunting for future generations.

We understand that hope is not a strategy when it comes to protecting our rights and our way of life. It takes aggressive engagement and commitment. Each year, we donate substantially to numerous organizations furthering these important rights, including Ducks Unlimited, the California Waterfowl Association, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Mule Deer Foundation, Friends of the NRA and others. We strongly encourage our clients to look into these organizations, and learn the great benefit they are providing to both us and the wildlife they so effectively help.
When our family and this community lost my son Clay Cagle, I decided to take our commitment to the outdoors a step further. A scholarship fund has been started and will provide a helping hand to the young people of Lassen County who are furthering their education in agriculture, conservation or the outdoors. It's my personal goal that this scholarship fund is around as long as I am in memory of my son and best hunting buddy.
To date, the Fund has donated or awarded in scholarships over $15,000 to graduating seniors, The Lassen High school Clay Breakers Trap Team and other youth outdoor activities.
If you wish to donate, please contact the Susanville Branch of US Bank @ 530-257-7295. Reference the "Clay Cagle Memorial Scholarship Fund". Your generosity will make a difference for all of our futures.
